TheTeatro Rialtois at Gran Vía 54.ÔVEN Gran Vía 55is literally across the street. This is the shortest pairing of all nine restaurants: one minute from pavement to pavement, with no metro, no taxi and no margin for error in the calculation.
Rialto is one of the theatres on Gran Vía’s musical circuit, with long-running productions and two shows at weekends: an afternoon performance around 17:00 or 18:00 and an evening one at 21:00 or 21:30.
At those times, Gran Vía is the busiest point in the centre. That is where the one advantage that really matters comes in:if the restaurant is opposite, congestion stops being your problem. There is no journey to calculate and no extra time to set aside just in case.
Leave the theatre, cross Gran Vía at the pedestrian crossing and walk in. That is all.
